Virginie Lacôme, operations director and founder of WittySense
For 20 years, I was the operational right hand of company founders: I organised, structured and grew their businesses. Since 2020, I’ve put that experience to work for small and mid-sized business owners on the French Riviera and in Paris, as a consultant and trainer.

My background
- Retail. After studying interior architecture, fine arts (Villa Arson) and art history (Sorbonne), I ran stores in Paris for 15 years.
- YellowKorner, from 3 to 74 stores. I joined this young brand in 2009. Two months later, I became the founders’ right hand for the network’s operational and commercial development. Five years on, it had 74 stores, and every process I designed was documented in operations manuals.
- An MBA, top of my class. In 2016, I graduated top of my year from the English-taught MBA at CNAM Paris.
- Luxury, events and disability inclusion. I joined a consulting firm specialised in luxury and events to develop sales and restructure operations, then Ethik Connection as agency director. YellowKorner, the Centre du luxe et de la création, the Dans le Noir restaurants: all companies I helped grow.
- WittySense, since November 2020. I set up in Saint-Raphaël to support business owners as a consultant and trainer, and I also coach retailers for the CCI Côte d’Azur.
My approach: smart laziness
Smart laziness isn’t about avoiding work: it’s about avoiding useless work. Look for the lever rather than brute force, and remove what adds no value before optimising what’s left. My goal isn’t to make you depend on me, but to make you autonomous.
Why « WittySense »?
Witty: using words in a clever and funny way. That’s my style: serious about substance, light in tone, and jargon-free.
My values
Adaptability
Every company is unique: I adapt the method, tools and exercises to your real needs.
Listening
I take the time to understand your challenges and your team’s, with kindness.
Originality
I look at problems from unexpected angles to find simple, effective solutions.
